Easton

Here is my new little nephew, he is only four days old and so precious! He was born three weeks early and is so tiny! How fun for me to have all of these cute little guys to take pics of. Easton did awesome for his pics and slept like a champ! I will post more later!

Nixon

This is my new Nephew Nixon. He was also born three weeks early and weighed just over 5 lbs. It is so crazy to see my little brother as a dad. He is such a good dad and they make such proud parents. Nixon seriously does not cry. So his session was the easiest one yet. What a cute litte guy, but I guess I am a little biased!

Kylee

Here is little Kylee. She was born three weeks early and was so cute and little. She was a good sleeper and we even got some ones of her cute big brother this time! Look at all that hair!

Baby Max

One of my cute new nephews ( I have two more on the way!!) What do you even say??? He was perfectly sleepy and did an awesome job posing. He has had to be on bilirubin (sp?) lights for a week now and so I have been dying to take these pics and today was finally the day! I love his cute little rolls and his squishy lips!

Paysli

Cute little Paysli...wow how fast babies grow, I can't believe how big my little gal seemed compared to this cutie! This is my cousins little girl and she was adorable! She did great for her pictures and even though it seemed like a lot of work I think that the pictures will pay off! ( don't worry Tammy you are next...)

Miley

This is the baby of my cute friend Stephanie...It has taken me forever to do her pictures with my kids all being sick, but I wanted to give her a quick teaser!

Ayden

Cute Ayden turned two...this is my third time taking Aydens pictures. He did actually like me this time, but he did not want to sit still and he is fast!! That is a typical two year old boy for you!! ( oh and I amlost forgot, HELLO EYES!!)

Jayme's Maternity

This is my one of my cute prego cousins Jayme...there are a lot of babies that are going to be born in the next few months in my family. I am so glad that it is not me!!! Even though I am loving my cute little one, I am glad that she is out and not in!! This is Jayme's first and she is having a girl! So fun! I totally forgot that they were coming for pics..oops!! I forget everything lately! but I think that we got some really cute ones! I can't wait to see her little one!

Gatherum Family

This family always amazes me. With four boys you would think that taking family pictures would be impossible, but these boys all do so good!

Hallie

I am soooo behind on editing. Having a newborn that won't let me sit down makes my job really hard right now. So all of you that are waiting on your pics, thank you for being patient with me. Your pics are coming...I promise.
This new little girl belongs to my friend who does my hair. She was so good and did whatever we wanted as long as her dad held her and rocked her to sleep. So cute!!!

Whitney

So when I take pics of little cuties like this one it makes me so excited for my own!! She was so fun, she would not STOP smiling. The best part was when we put her in the fun skirt she did not want to touch it so she would not put her arms down...haha!!

Picture parties

I also am now doing picture parties. If you want to schedule one they can be so fun for you and your friends and families. We have all kinds of themed parties from holidays, kids only, couples, families...and the list goes on.
To have a party you have to have at lease five friends(not including yourself) schedule a time. Each friend gets a 30 min time slot.

What this includes is the sitting only...two weeks later you will be emailed your photo album and decide if you want to purchse the photos individually or purchase the cd of pictures.

What to expect

Newborn Sessions- These sessions are most fun in the first week of life. Your baby is more sleepy and cuddly which allows for better pictures. This doesn't mean that if they are older we can not do them. Parents should wear long sleeve black shirts to their newborn session and expect to be relaxed and enjoy the moment. You also can bring along any blankets or items that would add character to your babies photos. Parents and siblings are allowed in these photos although I find things run smoother when parents leave siblings at home.
We can schedule a second session for siblings for a $20 fee.

Children Sessions-These are normally fast paced and exciting. You should schedule your childs session when they are most happy. Our goal for these sessions are to capture your childs true personality so that you have these memories to look back on.

Family Sessions- I prefer doing family shoots outdoors as you can do a lot of fun things that you cannot do in the studio with larger groups. A lot of people ask what they should wear? My advice is to pick a few different colors that go together and clothes that have textures and layers to add some interesting details to your photos. You do not all have to be wearing the same outfit to make the photo look good. Stay away from small patterns and prints as these can be distracting. Remember that this is your family photo so wear clothes that "fit" your family and is not too out of the ordinary.

I do not put limits on time, outfit changes, or poses during any of the sessions. I want you as my clients to be happy with what you get and so you say when you have had enough. Typically sessions last anywhere from 1-2 hours.
